Five unforgettable mountain biking stages on Trans Slovenia will take us from the heart of the Julian Alps, more precisely from the mountain-adventure center of Kranjska Gora, all the way to the Adriatic Sea in the town of Izola. Izola, which once stood on an island, is today connected to the mainland. On the last day of cycling, we will not have to return home immediately, but will be able to enjoy the evening pulse of this picturesque coastal town.
Between individual stages, we will experience the beauty of western Slovenia, its historical wealth, superb cuisine and friendly locals. Along the way, we will be accompanied by the highest road pass in Slovenia - Vršič, the emerald valley of the Soča river, the westernmost Slovenian village of Robidišče, Venetian Slovenia with the town of Cividale, the wine-growing Goriška Brda with its excellent wines and cuisine, and the pristine Karst with the famous Teran wine. At the end, we will be greeted by a magnificent view of the Slovenian coast.
