Via ferrata Olimpline and zipline

The Olimpline via ferrata is a new via ferrata in Carinthia, long, attractive, of medium difficulty, which climbs above the famous tourist center of Črna na Koroškem. Many Olympians also come from the catamarans. The most famous is Tina Maze. The name Olimpline comes from the zipline, as it is possible to descend from the top to the other side of the valley. It is designed in such a way that it is possible to combine difficulties from C to D. For the most daring and strong, there is also E.

Črna na Koroškem is located in the Mežiška Valley, originally known for mining and the treasures of King Matjaž, but at the same time with peaks and mountains, among which Peca and Uršlja gora stand out the most, it offers numerous opportunities for adrenaline enthusiasts on every corner: from hiking, mountain biking and, more recently, via ferrata. The Olimpline via ferrata is located right in the center of Črna on the southern slopes of Navrški vrh (1001 m) and is so airy in places that it offers truly wonderful views of the Mežiška Valley, the Topla Valley and all the way to Uršlja gora.

The via ferrata consists of several sectors and is generally rated C and is 1700m long, overcoming 500m. In the upper sectors, it is possible to increase the difficulty with sectors D, E or even F, right at the end of the via ferrata. The latter is also the most difficult via ferrata detail in Slovenia. Before the last rock jump, we can walk to the famous Nino's Hole (mining tunnel), which will take us 10 minutes.

In case we climb as a group of at least 5 people, the descent along the via ferrata can be skimmed by descending along the zipline, which ends on the other side of the valley at the ski slope, for which prior notice and an additional payment are required. Otherwise, the descent follows the marked mountain path back to Črna, which will take approx. 45 minutes.

For the via ferrata, the use of a basic self-protection set is mandatory - helmet, climbing harness, self-protection system and umbilical cord. If you do not have your own equipment, you can also rent it from our agency.

The guided tour is intended for adults and children from the age of 12. The guided tour starts by appointment, and our transport can pick you up at a pre-arranged location in the direction of Mojstrana - Ljubljana - Velenje
