To the highest peak of Slovenia with a group and pleasant company from the Krma valley.
Ready to stand on top of Slovenia? Triglav, rising to 2,864 metres in the heart of Triglav National Park, is more than just the country’s highest peak – it’s a true symbol of Slovenia.
The mountain is also home to the mighty North Face, the largest natural climbing wall in Slovenia. Whether you’re chasing big views, a real mountain challenge or simply that unforgettable summit feeling, Triglav delivers.
Your ascent is led by professional IFMGA mountain guides, so you can focus on the adventure, the views and the journey to the top.

The easiest way to reach the summit of Triglav (2,864 m) starts in the beautiful Krma Valley. Don’t let the word “easiest” fool you, though – you’ll still climb around 1,900 vertical metres. Only about 350 metres of the ascent follow a secured climbing route, between Kredarica Lodge and the summit.
To give you enough time to enjoy the mountains, take in the views and experience Triglav without rushing, we recommend a two-day ascent.
From the end of June until the middle of September, you can join one of our guided group ascents to Triglav. Departures take place every Sunday and Wednesday. Prefer to choose your own date and have a more personal experience? Private guided ascents are available too.
Joining a group is also a great way to keep the adventure more affordable. We start in Krma Valley and return there the following day. Depending on the weather, we may reach the summit of Triglav already on day one. If conditions are better the next morning, we’ll save the summit adventure for day two.
The section between Kredarica Lodge (2,515 m) and the summit follows a secured climbing route. With a mountain guide by your side, you’ll be secured with both a rope and a via ferrata set, so you can focus on the climb, the views and the experience.
Duration
Day 1
Krma (980 m) – Kredarica Lodge (2,515 m)

For the secured section of the route, you’ll need a via ferrata set, including a helmet, climbing harness and via ferrata lanyard. If you don’t have your own equipment, we’ll provide it for you at Kredarica Lodge.
The guided tour is suitable for adults and children aged 9 and above.
The adventure starts at an agreed time, with transport available from our office in Mojstrana. We can also pick you up directly from your room, apartment or hotel within the Kranjska Gora destination.
We provide all the necessary technical equipment – you bring the hiking legs and the motivation to stand on top of Slovenia.
