Via ferrata Hvadnik

Join us at new via ferrata adventure! An interesting adrenaline experience awaits you in the gorge of the Hvadnik stream in Gozd Martuljek, which is located in the vicinity of Kranjska Gora. A wild gorge with a fantastic ambience and beautiful views of the Julian Alps will set you up a magical climbing day.

In Gozd Martuljek, next to the Hotel and camp Špik, you can see a wide and wild gorge, through which an interesting via ferrata runs.

It is rated with C / B difficulty (one C grade). It is 250 m high, 500 m long and suitable for both families and adults.

On a guided tour, we climb through the gorge and also descend back safely. All the time, on one side we have a view of the peaks of the Martuljek group, and on the other side there is a wild gorge, which we climb. 

For the via ferrata, we recommend a basic via ferrata set: a helmet, a climbing harness and a self - protection system. If you do not have your own equipment, you can also rent it in our agency and is included in the price.

The guidance is intended for adults and children from the age of 8 - 9 and a height of 135 - 140 cm. The guided tour starts from our Office in Mojstrana, or with our transport we can pick you up in front of your accomodation in destination in Kranjska Gora. We provide all the necessary technical equipment.

The rocks throughout the gorge are smooth and can be slippery due to water erosion, so sturdy trekking shoes with good tread are recommended.

An individual mountain guide can guide up to 6 - 7 persons. For groups with more than 6 - 7 persons, an additional mountain guide is needed, which is charged according to the valid price list, depending on the number of people they guide.
